The Music Industry is the phrase given to the collection of labels, distributors, retail outlets, recording studios, listening/broadcasting arenas and licensing agencies. Music, in this context, is the product that is extracted and supported by these units. Artists, in the most simplistic terms, are the natural resource that produces the music ore.

The internet, created merely as an information exchange protocol, has paved the way for the possible, yet absolute, removal of everything that extracts and supports the artist. In effect, this allows the artist the ability to make or break his success of his own accord.

However, special attention needs to be paid to those talented few who have succeeded in the industry. Hence, our attempt at capturing those moments in the form of daily and weekly news reports and reviews. Artists must always study those that have tread a similar path and be informed of the music world around them.

Internetdj was created to mirror, not undermine, the efforts of the music industry. It is an attempt at a network of industrious artists from around the world who contribute their self-developed, original music creations for workshop and promotion amongst their peers.
